First held in 1978, the World Congress on Information Technology (WCIT) has become the premier international IT forum, bringing together over 2,500 visionaries, captains of industry, government leaders and academics from more than 80 countries - an event of unparallelled scope and scale. Discussion topics range from emerging markets and technologies to legal and policy issues and developing political and economic trends. Past speakers include former President Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and Mikhail Gorbachev.
Taiwan is delighted to host the 21st WCIT in its capital Taipei. Having previously successfully hosted the event in 2000, it once again looks forward to bringing together key decision makers and industry leaders for three days of vital discussion and debate. With over 90 speakers and 2,500 conference participants anticipated at the core conference and 30,000 visitors at the exhibition, the event promises once again to provide a vital platform for the discussion of the fastest growing industry of our age.
More information on the itinerary can be found here, or the general event in the info pack at the bottom of this page. If you are interested in attending the event, please contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org.
